| HOPE Scholarship and Financial Aid Seminar
September 15 at the Central Educational Center
A HOPE Scholarship and financial aid seminar will be offered to Coweta County high school Juniors and Seniors on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, 6:00 p.m. at the Central Educational Center in Newnan.
The seminar will be held in the CEC cafeteria, and will feature Mindi Morrow, from the Georgia Student Finance Commission.
There is no cost for the hour-long seminar, and no reservation is required. All interested 11th and 12th grade students and parents are invited to attend.
Planned topics include the difference between HOPE scholarships and grants, student eligibility, what post-secondary costs are covered and how to apply.
