I-85 Collinsworth Amen. |
Signs in the Right of Way No, the city ordinance has not been repealed or changed. The only thing that’s changed is who’s enforcing the ordinance. |
Trick-or-Treating Teenagers I welcome them. I’d rather have them get some candy than TP my house. Plus, they are more fun to scare! |
west coweta we are building everywhere in coweta. why do we not build some in west coweta? you have cluttered the east side toward ptc. why dont you do a 360 and go west. the first step is to improve Temple Ave |
Trick or Treat I don’t mind trick or treaters over elementry age coming to my home...I would much rather them be trick or treating than drinking, drugs. |
Wrong Side Of The Road I live in Summer Grove, there is seam going down the middle of all roads. I lost count of how many times I came close to clipping someone because when people are making an outside curb, they’re driving on the wrong side of the road, and don’t even bother to get back over when they see you. VERY NERVE RACKING! |
re: dear mr. BO the Ins. companies are NOT the villains that BO & his comrades would have you believe. It’s a reported FACT that Ins. comp’s only make 2-3% in Profits. How about TORT reform to put a cap on all the frivolous suits(ambulance chasers) that run cost up? |
Safe Under Bush? ”We were safe under Bush” DUH! We were attacked while President Bush was in office. He angered many countries and many people hated United States because of Bush. |
Grow up People Grow up people and stop complaining. Instead of complaining do someting constructive. Help your neighbor out, play and talk with your children, see what you can do to make a difference. |
Mother of a Marine Thank your son for all of us for his service. |
Healthcare Oh my gosh, please stop whining about health care. Yes, its getting passed, yes more people will be able to get the help they need to live healthy lives and yes the wealthy will finally be using their money for good. Sucks the government has to force them to do it. |
Max Thank you Max for your kindness. I enjoyed talking to you and will continue to pray for you and your grandson. Also thank you for listening to me and my worries. I hope to see you again around Newnan. God Bless you and your family. |
Trick or Treat Until a child reaches 18 they are still a child, and if they come dressed in a costume then they should be allowed to participate. When did Halloween develope an age limit??? |
Trick or Treat pt 2 It’s a FUN holiday, isn’t it??? So, let them have some fun. Kids have to grow up too fast in our society as it is! If being taken advantage of is a concern, then put up a sign ”Knock if you dare.” ”A treat will only be given to those dressed in a costume”. Have some fun! |
Coward Actually a coward is someone who does not act or hides because of his fear. A person without fear is a fool. A person who judges others without examining her own life is just a hypocrite. |
re: west coweta When you do a 360 you end up going in the same direction you started. But in the tradition of the Georgia school system, we’ll give you an A for effort! |
re: Trick or Treat And what about the other 364 days of the year when they aren’t trick or treating? you think they are drinking and doing drugs then? Some folks have no confidence in our youth. |
Tort reform probably won’t happen under BO. All the lawyers pay him to stop it. just politics and greed as usual in this administration too |
re: Healthcare ”And the wealthy will finally be using their money for good.” WHAT???? The mindless banderings of the wealth-envy... Gotta love it!! |
west coweta The reason WC is not growing - too far from the major roads, no shopping and lower performing schools. |
wealthy using money for good I guess the ”middle class” believe the wealthy stuff their mattresses with money and sleep on it. I’m sure the companies (AND WORKERS!!!) who make the ”luxury” items the wealthy buy don’t mind them making their ”extravagant” purchases. It’s a darn shame that more folks don’t have just a minimum, basic, shred of understanding about economics and the flow of money. |
flow of money When you give just a little thought you realize that all money eventually ends up in the hands of an individual who worked for it. Homes, cars, and boats don’t cost money. The money you pay for those items go to the workers whose hands hammered it together, forged the steel, mixed the fiberglass, grew and harvested the lumber, mined the raw material, etc. |
re: re: dear mr. BO 3% may not SOUND like much, but when your talking in the hundreds of millions and probably into a billion or so nationwide that’s a chunk of change man. |
